Iran Tour Guide - Operator

With 22 inscribed World Heritage Sites (11th in the world!), Iran has a huge potential for tourism and in the wake of the new political and economic developments (specially the lifting of nuclear sanctions) the prospect of this immensely lucrative business in Iran is very bright indeed. As with all tours around the globe, Iranian tours are managed by tour operators. It is common knowledge that Iranians are one of the most hospitable and sociable people on the planet and this is reflected adequately in the character and demeanor of tour guides in Iran. Exceptional language competence, high communications skills and consummate level of knowledge and information about tourist spots are common features of Iranian tour guides. From the first moment that you set foot in Iran and start travelling around the country, our tour guides are ready to offer their service and friendship. The government of Iran is very strict about professional tour guide courses and the applicants are trained at least a year before being qualified for a comprehensive and quite challenging tour guide exam. Iranians who opt for this occupation simply love it above all other considerations because being a tour leader in Iran gives them a chance to know and live with the people from all around the world (something they have been trained for!) as well as securing their own livelihood.

Tehran Tour Guide

Tehran is the definition of a Middle-East metropolis, with bustling crowds, heavy traffic and flashy restaurants but also palaces, art galleries, cinemas, music halls, theatres and so on. To put it in a nutshell it is the capital of Iran in its entirety i.e. its political, economic and cultural center. To explore this melting pot of a city you will definitely need professional help. Travel agencies in Tehran have taken care of this problem by employing some of the best tour guides in the country. They are the elite of their profession who have aced the herculean courses and exams of being a tour guide and garnered plenty of experience in working with different tourism-related activities. There are diverse choices on the menu of Tehran tours; from a one day tour that covers the major hallmarks in Tehran to more complicated packages in Tehran sightseeing tours which take you to a complete traverse of Tehran’s massive area from the expensive mountainous neighborhoods of the north (Tajrish with its amazing bazaar, luxurious shopping centers and wonderful restaurants, delightful mountain trekking in Darband with its colorful traditional cafes and restaurants and royal palaces of Niavaran) and west (Shahrak-e Gharb, the epitome of modern urban planning in Tehran and Saadat Abaad, one of Tehran’s most popular nightlife neighborhoods and finally the amazing Chitgar Park) to the historic and more urban looking regions of the south (old Tehran historic sites, Tehran Bazaar and a great number of other historic places such as royal palaces, churches, temples and museums) and east (spectacular national park of Sorkheh Hesar).

Iran Local Tour Guides

The best thing about Iran is that wherever you go the tour guides are most often chosen from the local population. It is a huge advantage to be led by a tour guide who has grown up in the area as nobody knows a place better than the natives. This is even truer in smaller towns and villages in Iran where local tour guides practically know everywhere and everyone! A tour of Iran will be definitely more fulfilling and enriching in the company of a local tour guide who will introduce you to every aspect of his hometown including an exhilarating prospect of a homestay in a cozy household and a delicious local meal prepared by an expert Iranian housewife!

Iran Private Tour Guide

Not everyone is a fan of sustainable tours with lots of camera holding noisy people who laugh at everything they see even a crack on a wall! There are people who want to retain their privacy in their trip while getting the professional help of a tour guide who offers his knowledge on tourist spots. This could be easily dealt with in Iran by contacting one of our private tour guides via What’s App at 00989900995435. They are all licensed tour guides fluent in English and sometimes a number of other languages (French, German, Spanish, Arabic,). Our private tour guides are often natives and know everything about anything even remotely related to tourist spots in their city. Moreover, this gives you a rare chance to find local friends. If requested, the guides will take you out with their friends among which you can meet very interesting people that will lighten your previously dim image of Iran. Furthermore, aside from the typical tourist attractions in Iran you can ask your private tour guide to take you to your own desired places or events such as the annual conventions like film festivals or football matches.

Hello there, I am a research student from the USA looking to do research into ancient Persian history, particularly in Persepolis, Susa and Yazd, but also Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz (maybe Qom also if possible). I know that relations arent great between our countries right now, and I wanted to be completely above board and honest and whether it is wise to come to Iran soon. I am thinking particularly early april-early May or thereabouts. Could you please email me back with some details. I travel to Austria often, and was thinking that maybe I would come with my visa application to the embassy there instead of through the Pakistani as is usually done by American citizens. Please get back to me as soon as possible. I would like to take a private tour with a driver to the different areas, and stay in local hotels. P.S I tried to text the whatsapp number you listed but it didnt seem to exist... All the best, Henry Litchfield

Thank you very much for your interest in our services, your desired service is available but it's not possible to do all you have mentioned in 10 days. You have to skip at least the hiking plan in Polour. The rest can be done and if you are only one person. It'll cost you 150 euros per day including your transfer and of course accommodation.

I had a two-week tour round the beautiful country of Iran along with Jalal and I think it was the most authentic I could ever experience. Aside from the major cities, we visited mostly villages on the tour. The valley of assassins was my favorite
