All The Tours From Tehran:
What we call Badab Soort Terraces Springs are in fact two mineral hot springs near Orost village, in the north of Iran. If you search Badab-e Surt on Google Maps, you will find it west of Orost village in Mazandaran Province. But what is so special about a spring you might wonder. Badab-e Surt is one of the few springs in the world situated in the midst of colorful travertine terraces. The deep-colored terraces are the result of thousands of years of mineral water eruption. Different carbonate minerals in the water of the springs have worked magic by creating many hues of travertine terraces. The stunning vista as seen from the top of the springs during the sunset is one of the most spellbinding sights in the world.
After touring the whole site for a couple of hours and taking photos we will head back to the village to dine and take accommodation for the night. We will head back to Tehran the next morning and that will be the end of our tour. In the chart below, we present the full details of the tour:

As with most of the regions around the Caspian Sea, Badab-e Surt’s weather is mild for most of the year with short episodes of cold and hot weather during the winter and summer. Booking Badab-e Surt tours is a great opportunity to see the spectacular natural diversity of the north of Iran. Gilan, Mazandaran and Golestan are the three provinces south of the Caspian Sea. Each of these offer a unique aspect of the natural wealth of the north and are major destinations of Iran tours during the summer (winter is considered low-season in the north due to the prominence of other packages such as Iran ski tours). Besides Badab-e Surt, two of the most visited spots in Mazandaran tourist attractions are Ramsar Palace and Shahandasht Waterfall. Iran tour operators always include these famous tourist spots in the itinerary of Mazandaran day tours. Ramsar Palace had been the summer resort of Pahlavi royalty before the Islamic revolution. The extraordinary collection of priceless items in the palace as well as its luxurious furniture and luscious design will act like a time machine transporting you to an era long gone. Shahandasht Waterfall is one of many bedazzling natural sights of the north and a favorite on Mazandaran tours. The waterfall attracts thousands of people who relish its serene and unsullied surroundings. These extraordinary sights are vital for the people of big cities during their short vacations. They flee the manic atmosphere of cities and take refuge for a couple of days in the bosom of nature. That is why finding accommodation specially during the high-season could be a tad challenging. But by making reservations in Mazandaran hotels in advance you can avoid the difficulties and exorbitant costs of hotels.
