Tabriz is located in the northwest of Iran and is the biggest and most populated city in this region. Tabriz day tours cover most of the places to visit in Tabriz. Tabriz had been the capital of Iran for many years in the past and as a result holds some of the greatest points of interest for tourists. These include the bazaar of Tabriz, the largest covered bazaar in the world, Arg-e Ali Shah, The Blue Mosque and a couple of historic houses with stunning traditional architecture like Amir Nezam House and the Constitution House of Tabriz. Tabriz people have been among the most illustrated figures in Iran history. From the towering figure of Shams Tabrizi and grand poets such as Khaqani and Saeb-e Tabrizi to the likes of Iraj Mirza, Shahriar, Parvin E'tesami, Reza Baraheni and Gholam-Hossein Sa'edi, Tabriz has contributed immensely to the wealth of Iranian literature. Among many artistic crafts practiced in Tabriz none is as globally recognized as the industry of handwoven rugs. This ancient art has reached its pinnacle in the hands of Tabriz carpet weavers. The center for this hugely profitable business is Mozaffarieh Alley in Tabriz bazaar which looks more like a museum than a market. As previously stated, Tabriz has been one of the major centers of commerce in Iran. Its Grand Bazaar is the largest covered bazaar in the world and is comprised of hundreds of chambers, halls and smaller markets where everything is for sale but the kitchen sink! This tradition has been preserved by the establishment of modern commercial centers such as Laleh Park and Atlas adding a modern hue to the already mesmerizing scene of Tabriz centers of commerce. Tabriz also boasts one of the oldest and largest public parks in Iran. El Goli presents everything expected from a world-class city park: acres of woodland, beautiful topiary and colorful flowers, a massive pool, special lanes for cycling, exercise equipment, a huge entertainment center and a handful of restaurants and cafés. As with most of our day tours, Tabriz Sightseeing Tour is a one-day tour. Although a single day might not be enough to visit all city sightseeing spots but we have tried our best to include the top tourist attractions. Needless to say that similar to all our packages we are open to suggestions. As the largest city of western Iran, Tabriz offers a wide variety of hotels. You can choose fancy five-star hotels or more modest four and three-star ones. Hostels and guesthouses are other cheap choices of accommodation in Tabriz.
