Garmeh Village is located in Isfahan Province and is a 5-hour drive from Isfahan and 4 hours from Yazd. Garmeh village is one of Iran traditional villages and boasts the best of desert natural sights. Palm trees overarching deep blue ponds where camels graze freely, traditional structures whose material and architecture come together to protect the inhabitants from excessive heat and interminable dunes are frequent sights in and around Garmeh.
Along with Mesr, Varzaneh and Maranjab, Garmeh's desert is a popular destination for tourists who long for a taste of Iranian deserts. Our Garmeh Village Tour takes two days. Due to the considerable distance of Garmeh from the capital, our Garmeh Village Tour starts from Isfahan/Yazd rather than Tehran (the starting point for most of our Iran tour packages including Iran Traditional Villages tours except for Garmeh of course). Previously due to the lack of accommodation options in Garmeh, travelers had to return to Isfahan in the evening and as a result missed the chance of a night stay in the desert. But the problem was solved with the establishment of one of the most amazing guesthouses in Iran.
