Tehran - Alborz Mountains - Tehran
On your desired date and at your desired time, but early in the morning, our
Dizin tour guide
picks you up from your
Tehran hotel
and you'll head to Dizin at the heart of Alborz mountain range. You'll
drop your luggage at a guesthouse in Velayatrud village and along with
your local guide head up the mountains to join a local shepherd, his
herd, and his dogs. You'll have the chance to experience the very different
lifestyle of a shepherd in Iran's most beautiful mountains, hear his
exciting stories round a night fire, and sleep in the mountains for
the night when the ever watchful dogs of the heard protect you from the
wolves. In the morning of the next day, you'll have a traditional breakfast
with the shepherd including his own dairy products.
